内斯托-贡萨尔维斯：“我发现费德-巴尔韦德时，几乎没有人对他感兴趣。他在成长过程中处于劣势，但他的智慧、技术和能力从第一天起就显而易见。事实上，乌拉圭U14国家队并不想征召他，为了留住他并提拔他，我做了很多努力。有时，为了能提拔和留住这个孩子，我们还向领导们要资源。我必须和他这一代人一起与国家队踢一场比赛，这样他们才能看到他，我对巴尔韦德很有信心。”
